Residential Lighting

When it comes to home furnishings, incorrect or incomplete lighting often leads to aggressive behaviour. So how should the right lighting be chosen?

To work efficiently in the home environment, it is necessary to create optimum lighting conditions. Local lighting should take centre stage in homes. Homes should have aesthetic lighting that creates a peaceful, warm atmosphere.

To ensure this;

The selected light colour should be 2700K-3000K.

The right balance should be struck between the width of the room and the size of the lighting designs.

Luminaires, lampshades and sconces should be aesthetic.

With spotlights on the walls, beautiful objects such as paintings are emphasised, the architectural structure of the wall is revealed and indirect lighting is created.

In the corridor and foyer; the lighting element that will provide adequate vision should be selected and correct switching should be provided.

In the entrance hall, illumination of paintings or statuette objects on the wall provides a much more pleasant welcome effect than general lighting from the ceiling.

In hall lighting; There are various activities in the hall from chatting, reading, writing, eating to watching TV, and the lighting needs related to them are very different. Therefore, when necessary, an aesthetic lighting should be made with the possibility of dimming, where all of the luminaires are lit when necessary.

Dining room lighting; Luminaires hanging over the table and adjustable suspension height give very good results. The correct luminaire suspension height is 0,60-0,70m above the table. The height of the luminaires whose suspension height cannot be adjusted should be at this value.

In kitchen lighting; a single light source cannot provide all the necessary light. Good lighting is provided with a mixture of 4 light types. These; task lighting, ambient lighting, accent lighting and decorative lighting.

In bedroom lighting, soft light should be preferred by using yellow light or yellow colour close to lighter white in order to relieve the tiredness of the day.

In bathroom lighting; white colour should be preferred. In order to obtain a clear image, the lights used around the mirror should be white and in shades. The preferred lighting must be resistant to moisture (IP44 or higher).

Children's Room lighting; When choosing decorative lighting products for the Children's Room, you should also consider the age, room size and activities of your child. The light colour used in sconces, lampshades or floor lamps in the children's room should be a warm colour.
